Do the Knowledge

I have been struck by the frequency with which I am hearing the words, “I Never Knew.” These three words pack quite a punch in terms of potential consequence in the lives of cancer survivors, thus MHYH is introducing a new tagline: Do the Knowledge.

To assist you in Do[ing] the knowledge, we have created a resource list of scientific literature regarding the potential late effects of cancer treatment and other survivorship issues. You will notice that most of the literature addressed the adult survivor of childhood cancer; this is because the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study our of St. Jude Research Hospital for Children follows the largest cohort of survivors at this point in time.

We will pull any adult research we can find and welcome the sharing of literature to be added to this ever evolving list.

Go to Scientific Literature under the Late Effects drop down menu in the upper right hand corner.

Let’s Drop our Fears and Do the Knowledge.
